Many say learning Chinese is hard. We disagree. Chineasy makes learning Chinese easy, and it’s a ton of fun! Chineasy, the award-winning methodology, revolutionizes how people learn Chinese, and help everyone recognize characters through quirky, memorable pictures with the mission to bridge the gap between the East and the West. Chineasy's simple visual approach is underscored by a rigorous educational methodology. “My goal is to make the Chinese language more approachable to non-native speakers. A Chinese character can have complicated strokes, but with Chineasy, our visual design allows you to associate the meaning of the word with the image,” says ShaoLan, founder and creator of Chineasy.

“Why China?” is a question we have all been asked and struggled to answer at some point. Is it the intriguing history? The lifestyle? The food? The nightlife? Or a mix of it all?

One day, we found ourselves commiserating to each other about the difficulty of explaining our life in China when we had the idea - why not take the chance and tell our story, the way it is, to the rest of the world?

And just like that, Ychina was born.

We don’t proclaim to be experts - how could we be? This is simply our experiences, our adventures in China. And we hope that by bringing you into the conversation, we can begin to craft an answer to the enigma: “Why China?”
